The State has embarked on multiple affordable mass housing projects while ensuring effective and efficient land administration.

Furthermore, the State is improving sanitation and waste management standards through the introduction of waste-to-wealth initiatives


Education & Human Capital

Access to Quality Education remains a top priority of the State Government, In what has been popular tagged the “Yellow Roof Revolution,” the Ogun State Government within the past two years has embarked on a massive overhaul of the face of education in the State across the State’s 20 LGAs include  classrooms, hostels, toilets, offices, stores and equipped e-  libraries/computer rooms.

Youth Empowerment

The State is being positioned for a greater future through various initiatives such as the launch of The Ogun Job Portal – The State Government has utilised the online platform to get details of applicants for employment and empowerment in different sectors, especially education,  security and agriculture.




The State has boosted its Agriculture output through various initiatives.

  • OGSTEP: An ongoing World Bank/Ogun State Economic Transformation Project targeting 40,000 farmers in nine (9) priority value chains, which include:  cassava, maize, rice, soya bean, tomatoes and pepper, sesame, fishery and poultry.
  • Input Palliatives to Smallholder Farmers: The Ogun State Government, has provided improved planting materials to 40,000 smallholder  farmers, while fertilizer was provided to target 10,000 smallholder farmers within the last two years.
